Making The Most Of Your Time
Do you find yourself struggling to get all your tasks done, at the end of each day do you feel that you've made the most of your time or are you constantly left feeling overwhelmed, frustrated and tired.
Maybe you find that there just does not seem to be enough hours in the day to get all your jobs done not to mention finding the time to fit in your goals, passions, hobbies and interests.
There is only so much time available in each day and there is only so much time in our lifetime, so you cannot change that, what you can change is how you can get the most out of your time.
When you spend too much time doing things that you don't enjoy or you do things that aren't really helping you to to grow and live your life's purpose, then it can be an indication that you could be more productive with your time.
Because, if you want to make the most of your life and time, then you may find that you need to spend a bit more of your time doing everything you can to make sure you live a life full of fulfillment, pleasure, success and satisfaction.
Just by making a few adjustments and lifestyle changes, you can soon start to put things right as well as learning how to avoid repeating the mistakes of the past.
Which may include making the wrong decision or losing valuable time on things that aren't taking you in the direction you want to go or wasting your time on tasks and ways of living that aren't contributing to your main purpose and goal.
Merely by allocating several hours per time spending your time wisely, you can soon start to get back on track and begin to make great progress in your life.
Because, regardless of where you are in life at the current moment, your future can be truly fabulous in all areas of your life, including your happiness, your emotional and physical well-being and your personal development.
Simply by making better use of your time, you can easily learn how to deal with your problems and difficulties, grow in all area's of your life and even begin to ease your financial stresses.
Time is precious, valuable but limited, it can also be an important commodity, so you will want to make sure that you're making the most of your time.
Most people don't really know where they're going in life and they have no real plans or clear directions to follow, so they tend to follow the crowd or carry on doing the same things as they have always done.
We are people of habit, but bad habits or habits that lead you to a mundane life of stagnation are not always good habits or practices to keep.
Sometimes a new direction in life can reignite your passion and fill you with a renewed sense of meaningfulness and purpose.
Although there is nothing wrong with watching TV or doing your normal day to day activities, you can get ahead of the crowd by making the most of your time, whilst still finding the time to do your everyday things.
Because if you have a burning desire to achieve something, or you are seeking a better, and a more fulfilling life experience or maybe you want to get better results, then it is time to make the most of each and every day.
The more you put into life, the more you will get back, and once you get the positive momentum and motivation going, you will keep on moving forwards.
What you will then find is, once you make the shift into that positive energy, more and more idea's and opportunities will be presented to you.
Are you following your passions
The world seems to be full of people who are feeling dissatisfied with their current situation where they get up each day and they follow pretty much the same routines as the previous day, many even think the same old negative and limiting thoughts day in day out.
Others live their lives in the emotions of their problems, where they often become so fixated and engaged with their problems that they fail to look at where they're going wrong, what is causing it and what they need to do to put things right.
Unfortunately the statistics back this up, and research is telling us that the rate of depression is statistically a higher percentage in the wealthier Western countries than it is in the less wealthier ones.
One of the reasons for this is believed to be, many Americans and people from the wealthier Western regions are not satisfied with their lives or some of the situations that they find themselves in.
Why they're not satisfied seems to be because, many people know they are living in the land full of opportunities and abundance, but on a personal level they feel, that there is better and they are missing out.
Many people feel stuck doing a job where they don't really feel appreciated or their career does not fit with their true purpose.
So many people seemed to feel trapped in a situation or daily routine that they're not happy with.
Although you should try to enjoy your time at work as much as possible to avoid falling into a term called work depression.
If your job or your life is leaving you feeling dissatisfied and demotivated, then it might be time to consider a career move or making some positive lifestyle changes and adjustments.
Don't look back with regrets
Living in a world full of opportunities is one thing, but unless you make the most of your time and you put in the effort that is required those opportunities will continue to pass you by.
Once people settle into a habit of living they give little thought to bettering themselves and their lives and in a sense many of us accept and get stuck in a kind of groundhog way of living.
Many people appear to follow and stick to a pretty much set routine and pattern of living where they tend to do the same things week in week out, and that is fine if that is what suits you.
But, we are by nature creatures of growth and adventure, we are designed to create, learn and do, and there are no limits to what we can achieve accept the limits that we inflict on ourselves.
Human beings have an enormous potential and a capability to overcome adversity and conquer big challenges.
There is always another chance or opportunity to put things right or achieve so much more as far as our life and goals are concerned.
Life is meant to be a wonderful experience and it is full of opportunities, but the last thing you want to have at the end of your life is regret.
Some the saddest words a person can say during their life are
- If only
- I should have
- I wish I had done
- I wonder what might have been if
To find out whether you are satisfied with your life so far, ask yourself this question?
If you had a time machine and you could go back to the start of your life, would you do things exactly the same, the chances are there would be many things that you would change or do differently.
Even though you cannot go back in time, you can make sure that you will make the most of the rest of your life by organizing your life, making the most of your time, and by doing more of the things that you want
Chill out and think things through
Although it is important to make the most of your time, this does not mean that you have to rush about and try to cram as much into your day as possible.
Making the most of your time should be all about being more efficient, productive and working smarter.
It seems like it has almost become human nature to rush to get everything done and most people are under the misconception that rushing equates to getting more done in less time.
However the truth is, unless you're running a race, going faster does not necessarily mean that you will get more done.
In fact, rushing, trying to hard or thinking that you have to get everything done as quickly as possible, usually results in, overwhelm, stress and frustration.
On top of that, you tend to do a worse job as you get increasingly flustered and tense, you will find you will be much more efficient if you slow down a bit and think things through.
To get more done and to do a good job, you need to feel comfortable and relaxed, because there are only so many hours in a day so you will want to maximize your productivity and achieve excellence in the things that you do in the time you have available.
Quality should always come before quantity, and it is essential to strive for excellence first and to get good at what you're doing, you will generally find your speed will follow and increase naturally.
The trick is to get more done and be more efficient in the limited amount of hours that you have available.
If you're performing a task or you're learning a new skill, or if you just want to increase your speed, first, give your mind clear instructions to what you want to do or improve on.
Then it can pay to analyze and work out, what is the best way to do it, and ask yourself, how can you do things better and work smarter.
Then to begin with, instead of just rushing in, just relax, make sure you're working comfortably, then gradually build up your speed naturally.
Because, sometimes the harder we try, the harder we make things and we become far more efficient when we do things instinctively and intuitively.
People tend to think, act and behave with their emotions, the trick is to change how you feel and then you will find you do things better and more easily.
Although it is good to access what you're doing and to problem solve, when you consciously intervene and you try to hard, it just makes things worse.
Stay in the present
All your power and creativity can be found in the present.
You cannot perform at your best if you're feeling anxious, stressed or tense, and they are not good companions of confidence and efficiency.
Stress and anxiety suggest that you are focused on what you don't want or what you don't have so you should start to work on releasing your stress and tension.
When we are in a relaxed but alert state, we do things better, we are more efficient and we perform and operate better.
You will also learn and pick things up better when you're relaxed as you will be able to absorb and take in more information,
It is no coincidence that some of the great minds like Albert Einstein and Charles Darwin, new that the secret to success, discovery and understanding could be accessed when they were in a relaxed state but highly focused.
When you're relaxed you will have access to information that you would not be able to extract if you're feeling stressed, negative and anxious.
You will be more creative, many of the great achievements and works of art, including some of the best selling books, songs and music came to the artist at times when they were feeling very relaxed.
Because we are at our peak efficient best when we are in the that free flowing and
in the zone state.
However, if you are spending too much of your day in a state of stress, worry, fear and tension, then you will be denying yourself of your true powers and creativity.
The secret to tapping into your true powers is to learn how to manage your state, and one way to achieve this is to keep your emotions in check and keep your stress levels low.
The more things you do to relax the better, because making the most of your time should also involve spending some time relaxing combined with eating healthy, keeping active and being more proactive with your time.
One way to keep your mind relaxed is to put all your focus of attention and energy on to positive and constructive things that are going to better you and your life combined with learning how to make the most of your time.
The trick is to prevent your amygdala's (Which are two small organs within your brain that deal with emotions) from becoming too emotionally aroused and the way to achieve that is to to bring your mind and body back into balance, alignment and harmony.
Being at your peak efficient best is not all about getting the physical aspect of things right, it also requires doing some emotional work and becoming the mastering of your feelings and emotions.
Maximize the time you have available
Although you want to make the most of your time you need to prioritize your tasks and put them in order of importance to avoid overwhelm and burnout.
This may mean, sourcing out some of the less important tasks as well as putting yourself, your interests and your needs first rather than trying to please or keep everybody else happy.
Your mind is a very powerful tool and creating machine when you get it working for you, the secret is, to train your mind off all the negative stuff, and focus it on what you want.
This takes practice at first, but the less you allow yourself to get distracted, the better you will become at guiding your mind to bring you all the things that you want.
To get things going, make a list of all the things that you want or need to do and do them in order of importance.

Although it can seem hard at first, there are so many benefits to be had from waking up early.
This does not mean that you have to get up too early because is important to get enough quality sleep, but you can lose a lot of valuable time by having a long sleep in on a weekend.
On awaking the start the day off with a positive attitude and set yourself up for the rest of the day.
Many successful people and high achievers start the day off with a quick meditation session or an exercise routine to help them feel better and more balanced, which will give them an advantage over the others as well as helping them perform better and be more efficient.
It can pay you to get the hard task out of the way first, as you will tend to be more efficient in the morning.
Morning is also a great time to
do your learning and studying as your mind will be fresh and more focused, especially if you have gone to sleep in a calm state of mind and body.
The thing is, you will get more done and you will achieve better results and standards of work when you're feeling at your peak performance best.
Try not to allow outside influences to distract you or get you down, the better relationships that you have with your family and partners, the more you will benefit as you will feel more emotionally balanced and you will be able to put all your energy on to doing the things you want.
If you have a specific goal that you want to achieve, or you have set your intentions, then it can pay you to carry a pen and small notepad around with you, because sometimes those all important ideas and information will come to you at random times when you least expect it.
Making the most of your time and talents
One of the key ingredients to making the most of your time is having the belief that the things that you're doing are adding value to your life or adding value to other people's lives.
Because, knowing that your time is being spent doing things that are worthwhile, or what you're doing is giving you a purpose to follow or pursue.
It does not matter that much what you're doing with your time, what is more crucial is that the things that you're doing are important to you and you're spending your time doing things that you want to do.
However, it is important to know what you want to do, and having a positive purpose always helps, especially in the case of achieving your goals or your tasks.
Therefore, it is important for you to know that the things that you're doing are the right things for you and your doing them for the right reasons.
Because if you want to get motivated, then remain motivated to achieve your goals, then on the inside you need to be sure that there is a worthwhile reason for what you're doing or you need to know that what you need to do is what you should be doing.
On the inside, when you have a positive or worthwhile reason or benefit or an end goal in mind, and deep down you know that what you're doing or what you want to do is right, then you will have no trouble getting it done.
Most people just do not realize how powerful and creative they are, the truth is, everybody is capable of achieving great things.
Because there are no limits to what you can do and become and your brain is a very powerful tool when you use it right, but it can also be very destructive when it is used or programmed badly.

Developing your skills can also help you to make the most of your time.
If you type a lot, then you can learn how to type more words per minute, or if you like reading then you can learn how to speed read, again helping you to absorb more information in the same amount of time.
Analyzing what you're doing, and thinking of ways to do things better or do things that will make your life easier can help you to be more productive.
Many people just do things the same old ways as they have always done things without giving much thought to how they can be more efficient or how they can do things faster.
Although you should try to speed up your tasks or chores, try not to forcefully go faster, the best way to be more efficient is to relax, do not rush and do things instinctively without trying too hard.
When we try too hard or we concentrate too much, we tend to rush, tense our bodies and restrict our abilities, instead of just relaxing and going with our natural rhythm and flow.
Being more productive and efficient can be applied to any area of your life and it should be a thing that you make a habit and a new way of living for you.
Because not only will it make you more efficient and productive, but when you learn how to get more done you will complete your task more quickly.
This will give you more free time for you to do more of the things that you enjoy, so it is a win, win situation all-round.
Managing your time well and being more productive and proactive is the basic ingredient to being more successful in everything you do.
